ATEX and IECEx certified Ex d (flameproof) enclosure in SS316 stainless steel. Zone 1, Group IIB+H2, IP66. For housing electronic equipment, local control stations, and instrument components in Zone 1 areas where ignition sources may occur internally.
Ex d — any internal ignition is contained by the enclosure; hot gases are cooled before escaping through flame paths. Heavier construction than Ex e. For equipment that cannot be made Ex e certified. Confirm gas group and temperature class against process.
