500 A heavy-duty electrode holder for large-diameter electrodes in structural and heavy fabrication SMAW.
Product Overview
Heavy-duty insulated electrode holder rated 500 A at 60% duty cycle. 70 mm² screw-type cable connection. Oversized insulated handle for heat dissipation during sustained high-amperage use. Accepts 4.0–8.0 mm electrodes. For structural steel fabrication and heavy maintenance welding with large-diameter E7018 and hardfacing electrodes.
Required for 5.0 mm and 6.0 mm electrodes which draw 200–280 A. Confirm cable is rated to match at 500 A sustained output.
