1 m × 1 m ceramic fibre blanket rated to 1000°C for PWHT preheat retention and high-temperature hot work protection.
Product Overview
Ceramic fibre (aluminosilicate) blanket, 1 × 1 m, rated to 1000°C continuous. For post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) preheat wrap and heat retention around pipe joints and pressure vessel nozzles, and for protection of adjacent equipment during cutting torch and plasma operations where fiberglass grades are insufficient. Low thermal mass — heats and cools quickly for efficient preheat cycles.
Use with appropriate PPE — ceramic fibre is a respiratory irritant. Wear FFP2 mask and gloves when handling. Do not compress — maintains insulation value when used at bulk density.
