Product Overview
Type 27 flat profile flap disc, 125 mm, G80 aluminium oxide abrasive. Fine grit for third-stage surface finishing, weld visual inspection preparation, and pre-PWHT or pre-NDT surface conditioning. Produces consistent surface appearance on stainless and carbon steel welds. 12,200 RPM max.
G80 is the final abrasive step before visual inspection or coating — suitable for most surface preparation specifications. For finer Ra requirements (galvanic coating, electroplating), progress to non-woven disc.
