Welding, Cutting & Surface Preparation — Welding Consumables
Electrode E7018, 3.2 mm, 350 mm, 5 kg Pack
Low-hydrogen basic electrode for structural steel, pressure vessel, and process piping weld joints.
Product Overview
AWS E7018 low-hydrogen iron powder basic electrode. Moisture-resistant coating with maximum 4 ml/100 g diffusible hydrogen (H4 grade). Meets preheat and PWHT requirements for P1 carbon steel under ASME IX and API 1104. Smooth quiet arc, low spatter, x-ray quality deposits.
Store in electrode oven at 120–150°C after opening to maintain low-hydrogen rating. Mandatory re-drying if exposed to humidity for more than 4 hours.
