Welding, Cutting & Surface Preparation — Welding Consumables
Hardfacing Electrode Manganese Steel, 3.2 mm, 3.5 kg Box
Austenitic manganese steel hardfacing electrode for high-impact wear applications — crusher jaws, hammers, and rail crossings.
Product Overview
14% Mn austenitic manganese steel SMAW electrode. Work-hardens under impact from approximately 200 HB to 500+ HB. Deposit remains tough and non-magnetic. Suitable for rebuilding and protecting surfaces subject to severe impact wear: crusher wear parts, hammer mill faces, rail crossings, and bucket teeth.
Deposit must be kept cool — maximum 250°C interpass temperature. Do not preheat. Apply in short runs to limit heat input. Not for abrasion without impact.
