Hardfacing Wire CrMo Alloy, 1.6 mm, 15 kg Spool
CrMo hardfacing wire for moderate wear and metal-to-metal friction applications on tool joints, valve seating, and pump components.
Product Overview
Chromium-molybdenum hardfacing wire for GMAW deposition. Deposits martensitic CrMo alloy at 38–45 HRC. Good combination of abrasion resistance and toughness — suitable for moderate abrasion plus impact loading. Used on tool joints, valve trim overlays, and pump wear rings requiring rebuild or protection.
Use CO2 or Ar/CO2 shielding gas. Preheat substrate 150–250°C depending on base material carbon equivalent. Good machinability of deposit compared to chromium carbide grades.
