Product Overview
ER316L TIG rod with 2–3% Mo for enhanced pitting and crevice corrosion resistance in chloride environments. Preferred consumable for 316L process piping in O&G, petrochemical, and offshore applications. Low carbon (max 0.03%) prevents sensitisation.
Specify for all 316/316L piping in seawater, chloride, or acid service. Do not substitute ER308L on 316 base metal in corrosive service.
