Product Overview
ER70S-2 GTAW rod with zirconium, titanium, and aluminium deoxidants for excellent arc stability on contaminated or mill-scaled base metal. Preferred for root pass on carbon steel pipe under ASME B31.3. Use with Ar or Ar/He shielding gas.
Preferred specification for pipe root pass on P1 carbon steel under most oil and gas WPS qualifications.
