SAW Flux Agglomerated Basic F7A2, 25 kg Bag
Agglomerated basic SAW flux, AWS F7A2 classification, for low-hydrogen multi-pass welding of carbon and low-alloy structural steel.
Product Overview
Agglomerated basic flux with basicity index approximately 1.8 for Submerged Arc Welding (SAW). F7A2 designation indicates 70 ksi tensile deposits with good Charpy impact down to −20°C (AWS) after stress relief. Low hydrogen, suitable for high-restraint joints. Compatible with EM12K and EH14 wire grades for single and multi-pass structural and pressure vessel welds.
Dry flux before use if stored in humid conditions — 300°C for 2 hours. Basic agglomerated flux is hygroscopic; reseal bags after use.
