Welding, Cutting & Surface Preparation — Welding Consumables
Fluxes
Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) fluxes. Basicity index is the primary selection criterion: basic agglomerated flux (BI > 1.5) for low-hydrogen structural work, neutral fused flux (BI ~1.0–1.2) for multi-pass work where bead shape is critical. High-basicity agglomerated flux suits pressure vessel fabrication under ASME and EN standards.
