Laser Cladding Powder Stellite 6, 45–105 µm, 5 kg Can
Stellite 6 Co-CrW laser cladding powder for high-hardness valve seat and wear surface deposition via DED.
Product Overview
Gas-atomised Stellite 6 (Co-28Cr-4.5W-1.1C) powder, 45–105 µm, for laser cladding of valve seats, pump impeller wear rings, and tribological surfaces. High sphericity and narrow particle size distribution (compared to PTA grade) for consistent feed in laser powder nozzles. Deposits at 36–42 HRC with excellent galling resistance. Retained hardness to 800°C. Preferred laser-deposited alternative to PTA Stellite 6 for precision, near-net-shape geometry.
Laser cladding offers lower dilution (~3–5%) versus PTA (~10–15%) — important for preserving Stellite 6 deposit hardness on thin overlays. Consult layer thickness and overlap parameters with laser equipment supplier.
