Laser Cladding Powder WC-Ni Composite, 45–105 µm, 5 kg Can
WC-Ni composite laser cladding powder for maximum abrasion resistance in laser-deposited overlays — 45–105 µm.
Product Overview
Blended WC-Ni composite powder (60% WC in NiCrBSi matrix) for laser cladding. Tungsten carbide particles distributed in nickel alloy matrix provide extreme hardness (>900 HV) in a metallurgically bonded laser deposit. Used where HVOF WC-Co is not applicable due to part geometry or thickness constraints and a laser-deposited hard layer is required. Applications: drill stabiliser pads, choke body internals, valve cage wear inserts.
WC dissolution is highly sensitive to laser parameters — high energy density leads to tungsten carbide decomposition and loss of hardness. Laser cladding parameter qualification is essential before production use.
