Spray and Fuse Powder NiCrBSi Standard Grade, 53–150 µm, 5 kg Can
NiCrBSi standard grade self-fluxing powder for spray-and-fuse coatings — 35–40 HRC, pump shafts and sleeve applications.
Product Overview
Self-fluxing NiCrBSi alloy powder (nominal 60% Ni, 15% Cr, 3.5% B, 4% Si, 4% Fe). Standard hardness grade: 35–40 HRC after fusing. Particle size 53–150 µm for oxy-acetylene flame spray. Applied as a sprayed deposit then fused with oxy-acetylene torch or in furnace to produce a fully dense, pore-free, metallurgically bonded coating. Used for pump shaft sleeves, plungers, and cylindrical wear surfaces requiring rebuild or first-time protection.
Apply in 1–2 spray passes to 0.5–1.0 mm build before fusing. Fusing temperature 1010–1050°C (observe liquidus closely). Substrate must be clean, grit-blasted, and preheated to 120°C minimum.
