Spray and Fuse Powders
Self-fluxing NiCrBSi alloy powders for the two-step spray-and-fuse process: flame-sprayed as a powder deposit then fused with an oxy-acetylene torch or furnace to produce a fully dense, metallurgically bonded coating. Particle size typically 53–150 µm (coarser than HVOF powders). Hardness range 35–60 HRC depending on carbon content. Commonly specified for pump shaft sleeves, plungers, and seal faces.
