HVOF Powder Cr3C2-NiCr 75/25, 15–45 µm, 5 kg Can
Cr3C2-NiCr 75/25 HVOF powder for high-temperature oxidation and wear resistance up to 900°C — boiler tubes, gas turbine components.
Product Overview
Agglomerated and sintered chromium carbide / nickel-chromium 75/25 HVOF powder. Retains hardness and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures (up to 900°C) unlike WC-Co which softens above 500°C. Used on boiler tube panels, gas turbine exhaust components, and high-temperature process equipment requiring combined wear and oxidation protection. Hardness ~900–1100 HV0.3.
Specify when service temperature exceeds 500°C — WC-Co grades are unsuitable above this threshold. Also suitable for erosion-corrosion at lower temperatures where high-temperature capability is not required.
