HVOF Powder WC-CoCr 86/10/4, 15–45 µm, 5 kg Can
WC-CoCr 86/10/4 HVOF powder — the industry-standard O&G wet-service coating for pump seals, valve stems, and choke components.
Product Overview
Agglomerated and sintered WC-CoCr 86/10/4 (86% WC, 10% Co, 4% Cr) HVOF powder. The chromium addition raises oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance versus standard WC-Co 88/12, making this the most widely specified HVOF coating in oil and gas production equipment. Deposits at >1100 HV0.3. Particle size 15–45 µm. Replaces electroless nickel and hard chrome in environmentally regulated applications.
Default specification for O&G pump shaft sleeves, valve stems, choke trim, and seal faces in produced-water service. Coating thickness typically 200–400 µm; consult machining allowance. Chromium content provides passive film stability in H2S/CO2 environments.
