Product Overview
Nickel-chromium-boron-silicon (NiCrBSi) alloy powder, Grade 1 nominal composition (~60% Ni, 15% Cr, 4.5% Si, 3.5% B, 4% Fe). Fine 15–45 µm fraction for HVOF deposition. Deposits with low porosity (< 1%) and good corrosion resistance. Hardness approximately 55–60 HRC after deposition. Suitable as an alternative to electroless nickel for chemical resistance with improved mechanical bond strength.
HVOF NiCrBSi is as-sprayed — not fused after deposition (unlike spray-and-fuse process). Confirm porosity spec with customer if tight sealing surfaces are involved — fusion treatment will be required for near-zero porosity.
